Valerie Gray Turner, Ph.D.
Dr. Gray Turner brings experience in networking with adolescents, individuals, couples and groups, with varied diagnoses. She has clinical experience in public and private mental health centers and various college and community settings. She is particularly skilled and interested in working with adjustment issues, depression, personality disorders, anxiety, stress management, relationship and women's issues. She is also experienced in career counseling and providing consulting services for various local agencies and programs.
Tanya L. Williams, LPC
Tanya L. Williams is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over ten years of experience in urban education. Working with students as well as teachers in and out of the classroom. She has also undergone training as a rape crisis counselor through the DC rape crisis center.
Tanya earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Norfolk State University. She continued her education by obtaining her Masters of Arts in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of criminal justice.
Andrea C. Press, Psy.D.
Dr. Andrea Press is completing her post-doctoral residency as a consultant at Psychological Group of Washington. Dr. Press was awarded her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D) in 2008 from the American School of Professional Psychology/Argosy University in Washington, DC. She also has a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Press completed an APA-accredited internship at Clemson University Counseling and Psychological Services. She has experience conducting psychotherapy and psychological assessment in community mental health, university counseling centers, and private practice settings.
Dr. Press believes that change occurs best within a supportive and nonjudgmental environment and places upmost importance on developing a strong working alliance with her clients. She strives to create a safe, warm, and respectful therapeutic atmosphere. Dr. Press’ specific clinical interests include eating disorders/body image, identity development, women’s and multicultural issues, adolescent/young adult transitions, and lifestyle change. She works primarily with adolescents and adults.
